bitFlyer USA to enhance security services after NYDFS settlement

bitFlyer, in an official announcement, has committed to enhancing its cybersecurity measures by the end of 2023. BitFlyer’s task is about 90% completed, with no reports of cyberattacks in recent times. The development comes to light following the settlement with the New York Department of Financial Services, also known as NYDFS. It comes to around $1.2 million, with the ultimate objective of enhancing the security measures for online operations. Additionally, bitFlyer USA has committed to maintaining the cybersecurity measures being worked upon. NYDFS and bitFlyer have been working collectively since April 2022.
