Golden Goose NFT sold for $6.2 million

NFT called Ringers #879, or The Golden Goose (“Golden Goose”), from the GRAILS collection of the bankrupt cryptocurrency hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) was sold at Sotheby’s auction for $6.2 million, reports RBC Crypto. The digital work of Canadian Dmitry Chernyak was bought by the 3AC hedge fund for 1.8 thousand ETH ($5.6 million at the time of purchase) in August 2021. It was the most expensive NFT in the fund’s collection. According to Decrypt, the auction house expected Gus to sell for $2-3 million, but NFT went under the hammer for $5.4 million. Including commissions, the total amount
