Coinbase was aware of violation of federal security token laws

Coinbase, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the United States, is facing allegations from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that it was aware of violations of the security token law.  In a recent letter filed by the SEC, the regulator responded to Coinbase’s allegations, saying it does not have jurisdiction to prosecute the exchange.
