Immutable is making waves with its Immutable X layer-2 blockchain, a technology embraced by games such as Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians for NFT functionality. Central to this new partnership, Immutable brings its blockchain expertise to the table. Nicolas Pouard, the Vice President of Ubisoft’s Strategic Innovation Lab and a crucial player in their blockchain projects, is bullish on the partnership. Immutable Brings zk-Rollup Gaming Solution

Recently, Immutable unveiled a testnet for its Immutable zkEVM, a zero-knowledge rollup (ZK-rollup) solution for gaming. ZK-rollups have gained attention in 2023 as a potent Layer 2 Ethereum scaling solution, boasting the capacity for high-volume, cost-efficient transactions critical for decentralized apps and services.

To date, Immutable has introduced two ZK-powered scaling solutions. Immutable zkEVM, functioning on Ethereum’s Layer 2 via Polygon, and Immutable X, created in partnership with ZK technology innovators StarkWare, are their notable rollouts.
