Espresso Systems Partners with Polygon Labs and AggLayer for Interoperability

In its X post, the firm pointed out that it intends to deal with the interoperability solution. It added that this development would provide benefits to Ethereum rollups as well as L2s. In an exclusive blog post on Medium, the company provided the details of this project. It mentioned that L2s are efficiently pushing the execution off-chain. Moreover, it is reportedly scaling Ethereum horizontally.

The ever-increasing metrics point out that the consumers are taking benefit from lower fees. Over a couple of recent years, the total value locked and the transfer count have additionally elevated exponentially. The innovation concerning the L2 sector is increasing at an unprecedented speed. In this respect, unique solutions are entering the sector every week.

The Development Targets Ethereum L2s with Rapid Speed and Smooth User Experience

However, Ethereum did not possess the coordination layer that would ensure seamless interoperability among these L2s. At present, the customers need to shift between fragmented execution settings. This would let them fracture the composability that they normally experience on Ethereum-based L1s. Customers additionally encounter long periods for simple operations like bridging.

These tasks can take some minutes in the case of deposits and some days in the case of withdrawals. Keeping that in view, Espresso has an objective to get the most value out of the L2 rollups capture. In doing so, it guarantees the optimization of the ability to fulfill consumer requests. For this purpose, the company is collaborating with Polygon Labs along with AggLayer.
