Avail DA, a well-known unification layer dealing with Web3, has announced a collaboration with Sophon, a client-led blockchain prioritizing users. The joint endeavor of Avail DA and Sophon includes the integration of the former in AI, art, social, and prediction market-related user-focused apps. The platform disclosed this development on its official X account.
In its recent post, the platform noted that Sophon will leverage Avail DA as well as the Avail Light Clients. With this, it will offer the scale to cope with the exclusive epoch concerning on-chain entertainment. In addition to the social media announcement, Avail also published a blog post on its official web portal for details.
The platform mentioned that this integration will see the use of Avail DA in diverse Sophon-built apps. These apps reportedly cover several sectors such as art, social, gaming, AI, and prediction markets. The respective applications target offering a high-throughput and low-latency environment for enhanced consumer experiences. Backing this, Avail DA operates as a future-proof and cost-efficient solution for Sophon. It perfectly achieves the vision of Sophon by natively supporting KZG commitments along with Data Availability Sampling.
Moreover, the Light Client technology of Avail will additionally back the decentralized infrastructure of Sophon. It will empower end-consumers with the rapid availability of verifiable data. Additionally, Sophon is becoming a go-to platform facilitating users and developers alike. It is readying to soon release on mainnet, with the support of the ZKsync ecosystem and Matter Labs.
Sophon’s CEO and Co-Founder Seb commented on this development. As per the executive, data availability maintenance apart from guaranteeing transaction integrity is a complicated task. Additionally, ensuring the manageability of the costs during all this is another toilsome operation. According to Seb, the integration of Avail directly solves these issues with the provision of an effective and considerably scalable DA mechanism using ZK Stack.
Avail’s co-founder Anurag Arjun said that offering Avail Light Client to users is just like letting them rapidly verify the data availability of the entire network. According to him, the users can do this even with increased throughput requirements such as in the case of Sophon.
