Tether, the issuer of the largest stablecoin, announced that it has launched a new native distribution of USDT on Kaia Blockchain. The partnership includes LINE NEXT, the company of the LINE messaging app dedicated to the development and expansion of the Web3 ecosystem, to serve all users in Asia.

In practice, USDT on Kaia Blockchain will exclusively power the Mini Dapp and Dapp Portal ecosystem, accessible within LINE Messenger.
By doing so, the approximately 200 million monthly active users worldwide of LINE Messenger will be able to access the largest stablecoin in the world, pegged to the price of the dollar.
The new USDT Kaia-based will be useful through the Mini Dapps for in-app payments, cross-border transfers, and decentralized finance activities (DeFi), all within the familiar LINE environment.
The Mini Dapp built on the Kaia blockchain are designed to introduce a wide range of functionalities powered by USDT, offering users a seamless digital asset experience within LINE Messenger.
