HashKey Chain Joins Forces with GF Securities to Launch GF Token

In partnership with HashKey Chain, GF Securities has introduced “GF Token,” its earliest class of daily-redeemable and daily-interest-accruing tokenized security. The respective product additionally presents its earliest-ever multi-channel token custody and dissemination model in the case of on-chain securities. It is currently available for both institutional and high-net-worth individual investors. The project is reportedly executed with considerable participation from several business platforms working under HashKey Group.

The respective milestone highlights a key move in Hong Kong’s journey to tokenize real-world assets (RWAs). It also establishes the foundation for a wider on-chain collaboration between the tokenized securities issued by Hong Kong securities market in the future. In addition to this, “GF Token” operates as a class of diverse tokenized securities that GF Securities backs with the credit support. Specifically, GF Securities is launching 3 products in the currencies that include $RMB, $HKD, and $USD.

Among the above-mentioned currencies, the $USD version plays the role of a benchmark for the Secured Overnight Financing Rate. It is designed to operate as a low-volatility, transparent, and fair crash management instrument. “GF Token” accrues interest every day, deliver high liquidity, and is completely recorded on-chain through HashKey Chain. It enables traceable and transparent transfer flows. This focuses on making “GF Token” a basic building block when it comes to tokenized assets. Hence, its financial settlement mechanism lets investors switch between diverse tokenized securities.

Establishing Foundation of Next Security Dealer-Driven Tokenized Asset Launches

According to HashKey Chain, in collaboration with GF Securities, it serves the main issuance platform, thoroughly contributing to GF Token’s launch. In this respect, NexaToken, HashKey Tokenisation, and HashKey Exchange are the businesses operating under Hashkey Chain to comprehensively back this development. Overall, this arrangement underscores a notable end-to-end model covering asset issuance, multi-point dissemination, and token custody. This establishes a resilient foundation for upcoming security dealer-driven tokenized asset release and on-chain collaboration.
