The collaboration between BNB Chain and CMB International is focused on launching CMB International USD Money Market Fund on-chain. The respective fund is considered 1st among its peers within the Asia-Pacific region in line with the Bloomberg ranking. In this respect, it manages over $3.8B in cumulative assets. Since the fund emerged back in 2024, it has maintained steady gains with the investment of more than 70% of the $NAV thereof in $USD-dominated deposits.
At the moment, with the launch of $CMBIMINT and $CMBMINT digital tokens via BNB Chain, the partnership permits investors to subscribe with the use of stablecoins or fiat. Additionally, they can also redeem holdings using smart contracts in real time. The procedure is driven by OnChain and DigiFT, guaranteeing compliance and liquidity for authorized investors across the globe. Additionally, the scalability and decreased gas fees of BNB Chain turn it into a natural basis for the tokenization of institutional-level assets.
According to BNB Chain, the launch of the Money Market Fund by CMB International highlights a key step toward the integration of conventional finance into the blockchain sector. Specifically, the $CMBIMINT and $CMBMINT tokens will be directly integrated into BNB Chain’s RWA ecosystem. Additionally, the protocols like ListaDAO and Venus Protocol will back these tokens, allowing use cases like yield farming, collateralized lending, and the rest of the DeFi strategies.
