AI-Powered GetAgent Brings ‘Satoshi’ Back, Bitget Report Shows Users Focus on Purpose Over Price

To mark the seventeenth anniversary of the Bitcoin whitepaper, Bitget’s AI-powered assistant GetAgent invited users to “speak” to Bitcoin’s pseudonymous creator via the #AskSatoshiWithGetAgent campaign, and the results are now in Bitget’s 2025 Ask Satoshi Global Report. Over a two-week run that ended in early November, more than 10,000 participants from over 90 countries submitted upwards of 30,000 questions, producing a surprisingly philosophical snapshot of today’s crypto community.

What stands out in the report is how little the conversation was dominated by pure price speculation. Nearly 40 percent of the submissions asked whether Bitcoin has stayed true to Satoshi’s original vision. Questions about decentralization, trust and Bitcoin’s purpose surfaced far more often than “when will it moon?” It is a signal that many users are thinking about the long-term meaning of the protocol, not only its market moves.

The campaign also illustrated how AI and trading are colliding. Bitget found that roughly nine in ten core GetAgent users had executed trades in the previous 30 days, with three quarters active in the last week. Trading and GetAgent activity peaked late in the evening, especially between 10 p.m. and midnight, while daytime queries skewed toward education, research and strategy planning, underscoring GetAgent’s role as both a live execution aide and a learning companion.

Linguistic and regional trends added texture to the global picture. Questions came in more than ten languages and participation was especially vigorous across Southeast and South Asia and parts of Europe. Remarkably, three quarters of English-language questions originated in non-English-speaking countries, suggesting AI tools like GetAgent are breaking down language barriers and widening access to crypto learning.

The report also highlighted different use patterns between sophisticated and newer traders. VIP users tended to use GetAgent through advanced interfaces such as K-line charts and typed more bespoke queries about hedging, market cycles and macro trends, while regular users gravitated to suggested prompts and educational support. Bitget frames this as evidence that AI mirrors user maturity: for novices, it’s a teacher, for experienced traders, it’s a real-time partner.

The campaign captured unexpected lines of curiosity as well. Beyond the philosophical core, common questions included whether Satoshi would embrace AI, why the creator disappeared, and whether Bitcoin could become a global currency or be used for social good. Regional differences mattered: some markets focused on decentralization and governance, others on identity and legacy, and a smaller group raised technical and security concerns, such as quantum computing.

Crypto for the Masses

Bitget positioned the study as more than a marketing stunt: it’s part of a broader argument that exchanges are evolving into “intelligent ecosystems” where traders engage with markets and ideas in equal measure. The company, founded in 2018 and claiming some 120 million registered users, said the findings point to a maturing, multilingual global audience whose behavior and questions are increasingly shaped by AI-assisted insight.

“The report confirms the global crypto audience is maturing from speculators to stewards, asking profound questions about purpose, not just price,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “Seeing users speak to ‘Satoshi’ through AI showed how global this conversation has become. It’s a reminder that crypto is for the masses and people are trying to understand its fundamentals differently.”

As blockchain and AI continue to converge, Bitget says its Universal Exchange approach aims to support that next chapter: providing trading tools, multi-chain access and a non-custodial wallet that together try to bridge markets, education and broader adoption. For readers who want the full breakdown, Bitget’s report itself is available here on the official site.
