Bo Hines, one of the most important figures in the cryptocurrency world, discussed Tether’s new strategic moves, the US regulatory framework, and the impact of stablecoins on Bitcoin in a broadcast he participated in.
Hines argued that stablecoins are not only a means of payment but also a gateway to the Bitcoin world.
Bo Hines stated that the biggest benefit stablecoins provide to the Bitcoin ecosystem is “on-ramp/off-ramp” channels. Hines said that people often take their first step into the digital asset world with stablecoins, become familiar with cross-chain transactions in the process, and then move on to mainstream assets like Bitcoin.
