World Liberty Financial Declines 7.9% Daily, Trading Near $0.047
Key Highlights
World Liberty Financial’s token (WLFI) fell 7.9% over the 24 hours leading up to 18:00 UTC on November 4 to trade near $0.04688, according to CoinGecko data. During the 24-hour period, the token traded between $0.04575 to $0.05134. The token’s market capitalization stood at approximately $1.49 billion, with a fully diluted valuation of $4.688 billion. Trading volume over the period reached $65.9 million. Circulating supply was listed at 31.78 billion tokens.
The chart showed a downward trend during the session, with the price moving lower after earlier levels near $0.051. Historical figures placed the all-time high at $0.3313, leaving the token 85.9% below that peak. The all-time low registered at $0.04575.
The price movement coincided with results from the November 3 U.S. midterm elections. Democrats secured majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Democrats flipped several Senate seats in states previously represented by Republicans, including Texas, Ohio, Kansas, and South Carolina. In the House, Democrats gained more than two dozen seats.
The results could give Democrats greater control over the legislative agenda for the remainder of President Donald Trump’s term. World Liberty Financial has been associated with the Trump family. The change in congressional control has been noted in market commentary as raising the possibility of increased legislative and oversight attention toward certain crypto projects linked to the administration.
The decline also coincided with Tron founder Justin Sun filing a motion seeking sanctions against World Liberty Financial and its lawyers. Sun, who has said he invested $45 million in WLFI tokens, alleges the company delayed disclosing that its ownership structure includes United Arab Emirates citizenship.
According to court filings cited in public reports, World Liberty initially listed Florida as its sole citizenship. Months later it amended the disclosure to identify 22 individuals and entities in its ownership chain, including parties connected to the UAE. Sun contends the timing of the amendment affects whether a federal court in California has jurisdiction over his lawsuit, which alleges fraud and the unlawful freezing of tokens.
Sun is seeking approximately $263,821 in attorneys’ fees. He has stated he intends to refile his claims in California state court once the federal court rules on the sanctions request. A hearing is scheduled for December 10, 2026.
WLFI’s decline occurred as the broader market environment reflected the political developments and the ongoing legal proceedings. The token remains well below its previous high while trading near the lower end of its recent range.
