North Korean hackers Lazarus Group and APT38 were involved in the $100 million attack on the Horizon cross-chain bridge of the Harmony protocol in June 2022. This was reported in FBI. The agency linked the hack to a North Korean-run TraderTraitor malware campaign. The attackers tried to launder the stolen funds through the RAILGUN anonymizer. Of this amount, the FBI was able to freeze $60 million in agreement with unnamed virtual asset service providers.
