Alchemy Pay is launching a unique fiat-to-RWA entity that aims to deliver access to the popular tokenized U.S. ETFs and stocks across 170+ countries. This move merges fiat onramps as well as the tokenized assets to remove the barriers hindering entry to financial markets. Additionally, this also facilitates institutional and retail investors alike with unique investment opportunities.
The fiat-to-RWA platform permits consumers to buy more than sixty U.S.-based tokenized equities, including SPY, Coinbase, Circle, Apple, and Tesla. To offer convenience, the project permits direct usage of Apple Pay, Mastercard, Visa, SEPA, and Google Pay, apart from 50+ regional payment options for these purchases. Additionally, by removing the requirement for cryptocurrency onramps, consumers are also able to invest directly through local currencies.
Simultaneously, each of the tokenized stocks, released via Backed Finance’s xStocks has a 1:1 backing from real shares that are kept under regulated brokers and custodian banks. The respective assets offer split and dividend benefits, reflecting the conventional stock ownership. While entry thresholds begin from only $1, investors get exposure to top equities according to their requirements. Additionally, dissimilar to the RWA solutions, which are decentralized-only, Alchemy Pay provides greater liquidity, accessibility, and compliance.
According to Alchemy Pay, the launch of the exclusive fiat-to-RWA platforms underscores the potential of the merger of fiat payment apparatus and tokenization to let everyone leverage Wall Street-level access. As a part of this development, both Alchemy Pay and Backed, by integrating xStocks, are leading toward a wider alliance with Chainlink, ByBit, Kraken, and Solana. Overall, by combining fiat payments and tokenized assets from Wall Street, the mutual initiative paves the way for a fiat-crypto gateway to deliver an inclusive digital finance infrastructure.
