In early January, Solana Mobile announced that its highly anticipated altcoin, Seeker (SKR), would officially launch on January 21st.
Now the launch day has arrived, and Solana Mobile has also announced an Ardrop.
Accordingly, Solana Mobile announced that it has launched an SKR airdrop campaign for Seeker owners of Android-based smartphones.
Solana Mobile has launched an airdrop of its native SKR token for owners of its second smartphone, the Seeker, and for app developers.
Seeker users can claim SKR directly through their pre-installed wallet on their device.
The airdrop claim period is set at 90 days, and allocations not claimed within this period will return to the airdrop pool.
The total supply of SKR is 10 billion, and according to the token’s allocation plan, 30% of the supply is reserved for airdrops, including the initial distribution to eligible Seeker users and developers.
Finally, SKR will implement a linear inflation program which they claim will encourage early participation. Inflation will start at 10% in the first year, then decrease by 25% annually to reach a final rate of 2%, after which issuances are expected to stabilize.
