Blockchain4Her, Bitget’s initiative dedicated to female empowerment, celebrates International Women’s Day by promoting inclusion and gender diversity as key factors for the long-term growth of the blockchain sector.
Centered on the question “How can we achieve mass adoption without women?”, the campaign challenges the industry to confront a fundamental reality: excluding half of the world’s population imposes a structural limit on liquidity, innovation, and returns. Bitget views gender inclusion not only as a social responsibility but also as a commercial and economic imperative for an industry aiming for sustainable growth.
“We already know that there are multiple issues to address regarding women’s representation, especially in STEM fields. Even in the cryptocurrency world, the disparity is pronounced,” stated Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “It is truly the responsibility of the major players to recognize the abilities and impact of women, especially in the financial sector. Even the smallest step counts.”
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Bitget Blockchain4Her launches a global social media initiative aimed at recognizing and challenging unconscious biases in Web3. The campaign video explores how women are increasingly entering spaces historically defined by men and demonstrates that true progress occurs when women take charge of defining the future. Industry leaders, builders, creators, and users are invited to share perspectives and tangible initiatives to promote more inclusive structures equipped with accountability mechanisms in Web3.
The initiative also includes the launch of a limited edition card for International Women’s Day, created in collaboration with Bitget Wallet. The card features graphic elements focused on messages against bias and inclusivity, along with exclusive benefits for users who support gender diversity in the blockchain space, turning commitment to this cause into a visible and daily participation.
Offline engagement constitutes a fundamental pillar of the campaign. Building on the “Lady Forward” initiative introduced last year, the program will host a series of interactive events across various regions globally. These gatherings are designed as safe and open spaces where women can share experiences, network, and discuss leadership, finance, and technology.
The activities will range from creative workshops—floral arrangements, perfume creation, ceramics, and nail art—to networking sessions and round tables featuring key figures from Web2 and Web3. In particular, Bitget is organizing a mini-conference, round tables, and an Iftar dinner in Southeast Asia, highlighting the campaign’s emphasis on cultural inclusivity and community-driven dialogue.
With the Women’s Day campaign, Bitget continues to promote Blockchain4Her as a long-term commitment aimed at redefining participation in the crypto world, recognizing diversity not as a limitation, but as a catalyst for broader adoption and stronger markets.
